HONEST REVIEW: Adania By Amaryllis

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone...! We meet again in a new entry of mine. Thanks to this one local skincare product, my facial skin is ruined! My skin is ruined in the terms of having wayyyyy too much breakout here and there and it turns into a sensitive skin. I learnt my lesson to study about the skincare before using it on my face. My friend suggested this skincare called "Adania" and it is under the label Amaryllis Wellness.

Major shoutout to Kak Wani (IG: adania_bywani ) for being such an amazing and helpful person to deal with while buying "Adania" skincare. Basically, this is my honest review (as well as my first impression remarks) on "Adania" skincare.

1) SWEET ORANGE FACIAL CLEANSER

Sweet orange cleanser

There are two types of facial cleanser: lavender facial cleanser (for normal skin) and sweet orange facial cleanser (for sensitive skin). Since the skin on my face is sensitive, I decided to buy the sweet orange cleanser. Yum... Be right back, I want to raid my fridge for some oranges...

First Impression: The moment I open the parcel, I was being "invited" with this refreshing and cheerful scent of orange. I can say that the scent reminds me of summer in a bottle...!

Review: The facial cleanser is easy to use. I splash my face with water beforehand. Then, I squirt the right amount of facial cleanser onto my palm and massage the cleanser onto my wet face. The sweet orange scent is really refreshing, perfect whenever I need to unwind a little. The scent smells like it was extracted straight from natural sweet orange. After washing the cleanser off, I feel like my skin is fresh and bouncy. I keep on pinching my cheeks since my skin is really bouncy...! Weird, but it's true. *laughs*

2) LUXURIOUS FACE OIL

At first, I was skeptical with putting oil onto my face. Like... My face is oily, and I'm putting on MORE OIL onto my face?! After doing a little research, turns out some of my celebrity girl crushes also use facial oil! Yoon Eun Hye, Emma Stone, Miranda Kerr... Just to name a few. The moment I found out Miranda Kerr is using facial oil, my inner fangirl screams "OMG...! I'M GOING TO HAVE THE SAME BEAUTY REGIME LIKE MIRANDA KERR!!!" Honestly, I am a huge fan of Miranda Kerr. Ok, "huge" is an understatement... But still, I am a fan of her since her Victoria's Secret days.

First Impression: This is what my heart screams the moment I get my parcel: "YASSSS...! That "sirap bandung" scent will be on my face!" Turns out I mistaken the face oil for the rose mist (which I will review after this). Silly me... *laughs* The scent of the facial oil is calming. It reminds me of a mixture of essential oils that is used for a spa treatment.

Review: This product kills my doubt on including facial oil into my beauty regime! I just dab the oil onto my face and it magically disappears. The oil is so lightweight and it absorbs into my skin quickly, leaving my skin moisturized and glowing. The oil also protects my skin from harmful UV rays, which means I do not have to splurge on sunscreen.  The scent is relaxing, like what I stated earlier. On the downside, it is pretty slow in healing my acne scars. Oh well, it is an organic product after all. Sure, it takes time.

3) ABSOLUTE ROSE REFRESHING MIST

There are two types of mist: Lavender (face and body mist) and rose (face mist). I decided to choose rose since it is one of my favourite flowers. Another reason that made me fall in love with roses even more is that my favourite DJ duo (The Chainsmokers) made a song called "Roses". *smiles widely* Back to the flower rose, the rose can be extracted into liquid and the liquid is called rose water. I used to have rose water in my beauty regime back when I was about 13 years old. I used to mix the rose water into my "bedak sejuk" and put it all over my face.

First Impression: The moment I open the parcel, the "sirap bandung" scent is greeting me with open arms. YASSSS...!!! That "sirap bandung" scent will be on my face at last!!! After unpacking, I immediately made myself a cold "sirap bandung" drink. The scent made me thirsty for "sirap bandung". *laughs*

Review: I regret dropping rose water from my beauty regime. Thankfully, Adania brings the rose water back into my regime The mist is easy to apply. I spritz on the mist on my face and the mist made my skin refreshed. The scent is amazing (It's "sirap bandung" scent and you cannot go wrong with "sirap bandung") and I want to give 5 diamonds just for the scent! This mist is great as a makeup primer, again cuts my cost for buying a high-end makeup primer.

4) CLAY FACE MASK

Clay Face Mask

No, this skincare line is not providing you with those paper mask. The face mask that is provided is that clay mask where you have to mix it with liquid and apply it onto your face. I prefer this type of mask compared to the paper mask since my face cannot fit those paper mask. I do not know why, but it just cannot fit my face...!

First Impression: This face mask is placed in a glass container, so there is no scent coming out. Plus, it is a CLAY MASK! After all, clay does not exude any scent. Unless, well, if you use a synthetic fragrance. I am glad that this skincare is going Au natural in fragrance.

Review: The mask is being mixed with liquid (I mix it with either tap water or the rose mist) and I leave the mask for about 10 minutes before washing it. After washing the clay mask, my skin feels clean and fresh! I remember the first time I wear this clay mask, I went on to WhatsApp my best friend after washing my face and I wrote "I found the best face mask EVER!" This mask also helps to remove the blackhead on my nose and shrink my acne. The downside is that the packaging is pretty heavy and it is hard to bring the clay mask for travelling.

OVERALL: "Adania" skincare is amazing with a capital "A"! Although there are a few downside here and there, but I do not mind really. The best bit is that my skin is slowly healing. Alhamdulillah... Mother Nature knows the best. ;)
